The CIPI-S Graduate student travel awards are offered thanks to support from The Canadian Institute for Photonic Innovations (CIPI). The awards were created to help graduate students offset the cost of travel to major national and international conferences in the field of photonics.

The deadline for the next competition is: February 1, 2010 (Applications for Photonics West 2010 will also be considered).

At the CIPI AGM 2009 in Quebec city, QC,  a new CIPI-S Board of directors was elected.
